Each artist developed an individual research practice in resonance with the identity of the place.
I chose to explore and reflect on the tensions I experienced upon arriving: those between nature and medieval architecture. In a way, I wanted to question nature about its relationship with the built environment, which, after all, has only been occupying its land for a relatively short time.
I developed this research through a series of plaster works, initially shaped in clay, exploring the confrontation between these two elements and their mutual responses.
The collective work resulted in two major projects:
The collective mural: a wall-based work in which the different artistic practices intertwined, creating a visual dialogue between the various approaches and the local context.
The artistic trail: a route through the village integrating installations and sculptures, inviting inhabitants and visitors to rediscover the heritage through another perspective.
