The workshop was inspired by my Herbier series, developed for the exhibition, and invited children to create their own herbarium using the same elements featured in my work.
Each participant was invited to create a personal composition combining different traces and fragments connected to the garden: seeds, plant imprints, words, a text describing what the garden evoked for them, a linear drawing, and a printed photograph of themselves in a garden, which they then reworked.
The workshop was built around the ideas of memory, collecting, and assembling. As in a herbarium, the aim was not simply to preserve plants, but also sensations, stories, forms, and impressions connected to an intimate, living space. The children thus created images in which text, plant matter, drawings, and photographs entered into dialogue within a harmonious composition.
