2010. First series of scans of raw food. The idea was to compose food items into fictional dishes from a Michelin-starred restaurant — and give them absurd, far-fetched titles, like those found in high-end French gastronomy.

What interested me was manipulating the living, looking into its smallest details — through the scanner’s high resolution — to find the disjunction that would emerge between what we saw and what we imagined. Between the actual food and the invented title. Eight dishes in which food becomes a medium for fiction.
